I wanted to draw Carlos like that too, but got way too tired..Hopefully I will draw him later.

A voice like caramel with oaky tones, dark and delicate skin, black hair with a “dignified, if premature, touch of gray at his temples”, and a strong, square jaw and teeth “like a military cemetery.”, This is how the voice of Night Vale describes Carlos, as well as adding in words like perfect and sweet. 

Carlos is not blasé about the strange and horrible events that occur in the small town and is often mentioned investigating the bizarre phenomena - for many strange things happen  ”where the moon is beautiful and mysterious lights pass overhead while we all pretend to sleep”.  Carlos says he is not a botanist or a dendrologist. He is also a student of the anomalous phenomena along with more traditional specialties and rather not focus on the trees and plants. 

To befriend a scientist would increase the chances not missing any strange things that happen around you. Though do not be shocked if he keeps personal things to himself. Often, Carlos tries not to partake in anything else but science. Still, in the end, it can be a bit difficult not having anyone to talk to. Expect dates with him and Cecil at the Big Rico’s Pizza near the station, there the two will constantly share a cloud of intimacy and drown themselves in a world of their own. Where Carlos is found majority of the time anyway.
